Château Le Prieuré 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, fresh, well-built and offers a fine intensity/power. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of Cuben pepper,sugared tobacco from Virginia as well as very fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, minerality, tension, precision, freshness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy strawberry and small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of fleshy/juicy raspberry as well as fine hints of violet, chocolate, discreet hints of cornflower, liquorice and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. Sapidity on the finish.
