Château Le Pin 2020, Pomerol

On the nose, fresh, fruity offering nice depth, a fine grain as well as a certain concentration (in freshness/finesse/mastery), spunk, complexity, delicacy. With notes of ripe wild blackberry, pulpy/sparkling berries and more lightly bright raspberry combined with small touches of cherry as well as hints of violet, blueberry, discreet hints of sweet spices, tea, zan and a discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant and offers greediness, nice definition, energy, complexity, fine varietal bitterness, aromatic purity, precision as well as tension (in finesse), richness (in finesse), some finesse, depth, fine grain, a gourmet silk square. On the palate expressing notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy raspberry and more slightly pulpy/fresh cherry associated with touches of lilac, rose, blueberry, licorice as well as discreet hints of cardamom, toasted hazelnut, and an imperceptible touch of tea. A nice gourmet persistence offering an imperceptible hint of salinity. A finish that provides a little savory and suavity. Like a Dantes reading rugby player! Superb!
