Château Le Pey 2017 – Médoc

Château Le Pey 2017 – Médoc

The nose is aromatic, slightly tight and offers power. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and Cuben pepper associated with touches of spices as well as a very discreet hint of clove (in the background) and zan. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, a fine juiciness, a small fat, a good definition as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/crushed raspberry and more slightly cherry associated with touches of toasted oak, liquorice as well as subtle/discreet touches of almond. Good length.
