Château Le Conte 2021 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and reveals a certain pulpiness as well as a little gourmandize. There are notes of bright blackberry, crushed black berries and, more slightly, black cherry, combined with touches of blueberry and liquorice. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, roundness, some volume and a certain minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and, more slightly, blueberry combined with touches of bright blue berries, fine points of pulpy/juicy/acidic blackcurrant and a subtle hint of nutmeg and liquorice. The tannins are well-managed and supple.
