Château Le Chemin 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a small racy power. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of toasted associated with fine hints of roasted, Sichuan pepper as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a small gourmandize as well as a pulpy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy strawberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy blueberry associated with fine touches of ripe/juicy raspberry, fine hints of flowers, liquorice, tonka bean as well as an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco and nutmeg.
