Château Le Bourdieu Vertheuil 2018 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose reveals notes of blackberry, raspeberry and small notes of small juicy/fresh red fruits associated with small touches of lily, cherry blossom as well as fine hints of nutmeg and discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, mineral, a fine tension as well as an acidulous frame, a fine richess and a small crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, small creamy red berriesand small notes of rose associated with touches of crunchy/juicy blackberry as well as fine hints of cherry blossom, sugared mild tobacco and a subtle hint of vanilla. Good length. A very fine hint of caramelization in the persistence.
