The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power, delicacy with finesse, concentration with precision as well as a very fine infusion side. We find notes of creamy blackberry, quite ripe raspberry and small notes of small roasted red fruits associated with touches of violet, spices, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of sense of place/almost aromatic herbs . The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, tanginess, good definition, a certain gourmandise, a mineral frame, a fine infusion side as well as a certain density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/tart blackcurrant and small notes of violet, associated with touches of small bright red berries, hints of star anise, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of toast, bergamot, sweet spices and toasted hazelnut. Lovely freshness and minerality! The tannins are elegant and relatively polished.
