The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, a fine freshness as well as a very fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of fresh cassis and fresh blueberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, a fine / subtle hint of flowers, Cuben pepper, spices, wood and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, a beautiful fat / roundness, a good definition, a fresh frame as well as a fine acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and slight notes of black berries associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry, liquorice as well as fine hints of hazelnut, very slight hints of caramelized oak and toasted oak / hazelnut. Good persistence. There is a subtle hint of tonka bean / cocoa on the persistence.
