The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of black berries and cassis associated with touches of wild strawberry / red fruit, spices, gray pepper, a subtle hint of crushed wild blueberry as well as a very discreet hint of violet, wood, pencil lead and an imperceptible touch of caramelization / hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, fat, a good freshness, tension, a good guideline as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry combined with fine touches of jammy plum and a hint of chocolate, caramelized oak and an imperceptible touch of cardamom /hazelnut. Tannins are fine, straight and very slightly firm / chalky.
