Château Lascombes 2017 – Margaux, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, racy, aromatic, well-built and offers power, a fine concentration as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of crunchy raspberry, a discreet touch of flowers as well as fine hints of liquorice and sweet spices. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, tension, density, freshness as well as suavity. On the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy / ripe raspberry, juicy cassis and small notes of violet associated with small touches of small berries as well as fine hints of tobacco leaf and licorice. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
