Château Lascombes 2015 – Margaux, 2nd Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fine as well as relatively fruity and fresh. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis combined with a few discreet notes of plum (in the background), a touch of cassis buds and a very discreet note of Zan. The palate is fruity, silky, well-balanced, relatively fleshy and offers a good matter, harmony and freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and a fine touch of plum associated with a hint of cassis bud and a hint of liquorice. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length.
