Château Larrivet Haut-Brion 2020, Pessac-Léognan 

On the nose, fresh, juicy and offers some intensity and elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy apple, juicy pear and more slightly fresh/juicy quince associated with small touches of fresh/juicy yellow fruits, fine hints of fresh pineapple, white flowers, discreet iodine/smoke and a subtle hint of hazelnut (in the background). On the palate, fruity, balanced, very discreetly tight and offers juiciness, gourmandize, roundness as well as suavity, good definition, precision, fat and a little richness justly mastered. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy lemon, juicy/pulpy quince and more lightly Spanish lime combined with hints of pineapple, crisp apple, fine iodine/smoke, a discreet hint of butter/chestnut butter and hazelnut (in the background). Good length. An imperceptible hint of fresh sap on the persistence. Smoky and fatty notes on the finish.
