The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, well-balanced and offers concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe strawberry and small notes of raspberry combined with a hint of liquorice, violet and blackberry as well as discreet hints of rose and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, suavity, harmony / a melodious side, a small tension as well as a beautiful freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, juicy / fresh blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of fresh wild red berries, a hint of violet, peony as well as slight hints of tomato leaf, cocoa / dark chocolate, licorice and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant and silky. A very discreet chews on the finish / persistence.
