Château Larrivet Haut Brion 2017 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity, dry, racy and offers power as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of lemon, white fruits and fine touches of rose, litchi associated with hints of zest, a discreet hint of verbena, straw, dried peach skin as well as an imperceptible touch of fresh quince (in the background), fresh leather and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity / juiciness, a very fine grain as well as a very beautiful silky and very slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, ripe lemon and small notes of lychee, grapefruit zest, lemon associated with slight hints of dried orange, dried rose and discreet hints of beeswax and spices. Good length.
