The nose is complex and elegant. It reveals notes of black fruit associated with slight notes of undergrowth, leather, flowers (very light notes of iris), pepper and cigar box. The palate is well balanced, typical, complex, dense and quite gourmand. In the mouth it expresses notes of ripe black fruit, plum and slight notes of blackberry cream associated with notes of black cherry, plum and a hint of liquorice, pepper and liquorice/zan. There are also mineral notes on the palate.
