Château Laroze 2020 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

On the nose, it is racy and offers freshness, a small concentration as well as a certain power and deepness. It reveals notes of crushed blackcurrant, fleshy Boysenberries, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of small fleshy/ripe red fruits, fresh violet, lily as well as hints of spices, toasted, de zan, a discreet hint of green pepper and mocha. On the palate it is fruity, balanced discreetly tight and offers gourmandize, a juicy/acidulous frame, tension (in finesse) as well as some concentration, a good definition, a good structure. The wine expresses notes of wild pulpy/fleshy cassis, small fresh/juicy black berries small notes of bright raspberries associated with touches of small black fruits, violet, cardamom, zan as well as hint of spices, mocha and a subtle hint roasted almonds. The tannins are precise, fine, elegant, and structuring.
