Château Larose-Trintaudon 2016 – Haut-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine fleshiness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy small berries associated with fine hints of spices, cornflower as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice stick. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, a fine juicy/acidulous frame, precision, juiciness, a small gourmandize as well as a very fine crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy strawberry, crunchy/juicy blackberry and small notes of ripe/juicy raspberry associated with a hint of small berries as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice stick and an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). There is a very discreet almost saline hint and sapidity on the finish. There are fine toasted hints and chocolate on the persistence. Tannins are well-built and very discreetly firm.
