Château Larose Perganson 2016 – Haut-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine gourmandize, a small power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, ripe blackberry and more slightly strawberry associated with fine hints of flowers, Cuben pepper, zan and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, a fine juiciness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly crunchy/fresh raspberry associated with small touches of liquorice, hints of juicy small red berries as well as fine hints of liquorice, a fine hint of flowers and a discreet hint of mild tobacco/zan. Good length.
