The nose is aromatic, structured, fruity and offers a slight minerality. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe strawberry and slight notes of cherry associated with hints of spices as well as hints of Cuben pepper and subtle / very discreet toasted touches (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juiciness, a mineral frame and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and slight notes of strawberry associated with touches of fresh raspberry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of cocoa and vanilla Bourbon. Tannins are fine and very slightly tight. There are a subtle hint of cocoa and vanilla on the aftertaste. (2019+)
