Château Larcis Ducasse 2019 – Saint-Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé

Château Larcis Ducasse 2019 – Saint-Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé

The nose is elegant, racy, fine and offers power in finesse, a nice finesse of the grain as well as a nice and delicate floral side. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, blueberry and more slightly crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, lilac, a sense of place as well as a discreet smoky side, with fine hints of pepper, with a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of bergamot. The palate is elegant, voluptuous, delicate, while slightly / delicacy and offers a mineral frame, as well as a nice pulpy / unctuous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of unctuous blackberry, unctuous raspberry and more slightly crushed redcurrants associated with a touch of purple plum, blueberry, violet, with hints of chocolate, toasted hazelnut, with fine hints of vanilla Bourbon as well as an imperceptible hint of sage and bergamot. Tannins are elegant and unctuous. Good length.
