Château Laplagne 2020 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

Château Laplagne 2020 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity and cocoa-like. There are notes of blackberry, juicy wild cherry and more slightly of violet/fresh iris combined with hints of fresh wild berries and a fine touch of grey pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, a certain suavity, some roundness in freshness and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy raspberry, saline minerality and more slightly fleshy/juicy blackberry notes combined with hints of fresh berries as well as hints of fresh lilac, fresh nutmeg and a subtle hint of fresh vanilla. Good length.
