Château Laniote 2020 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose it is fruity well-built and offers well controlled power as well as a fine texture. It reveals notes of wild berries, small black fruits and small notes of wild strawberries associated with a touch of cherry, violet as well as fine hints of nutmeg. On the palate it is fruity and offers freshness, a good definition, minerality, a certain tension and a fine texture. The wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh Boysen berry, juicy raspberry and small notes of small wild black fruits associated with a touch of cherry as well as hints of tonka bean, cardamom and a subtle hint of grilled/ grilled hazelnuts. Tannins are soft.
