Château Laniote 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers power and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, cuben pepper, small notes of wild blackberry associated with touches of wild raspberry, spices as well as hints of vanilla and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a fine tension and suavity/fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, ripe Boysen berry, small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of small crushed wild red berries as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and a subtle hint of almond (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very fine hint of almond on the persistence.
