The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers power, a good finesse of the grain, concentration as well as a good structure. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of ripe/fresh raspberry associated with touches of liquorice, Cuben pepper, very discreet hints of violet as well as a discreet hint of tea.The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, precision as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy cherry and small notes of ripe/juicy red fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice, mild tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom, violet and tea. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Good persistence on notes of dark chocolate.
