Château Lanessan 2017 – Haut-Médoc

Château Lanessan 2017 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes if cassis, crushed raspberry and more slightly wild strawberry associated with fine/discreet touches of flowers (bulb/lily), gray pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of chocolate. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, mineral, precise and offers a good definition, a small tension, a fine power, softness, a very fine unctuosity, a bit aery as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and more slightly cassis associated with fine touches of cherry as well as discreet touches of toasted, vanilla, chocolate, a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of fresh almond. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length and good persistence.
