Château Landereau, Préstige 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Château Landereau, Préstige 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses slightly sweet notes of mild spices (vanilla, cinnamon, licorice, cloves), as well as a peppery and toasted touch (toasted oak, toasted hazelnut). It then expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, blackcurrant, raspberry and black plum, associated with a floral touch of peony, as well as a hint of tobacco and dried mint in the background. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fruity and gourmand. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, black plum, blackberry and blackcurrant, combined with floral notes of peony and violet, as well as a pronounced, bur envelopped spiciness (licorice, cloves, vanilla cinnamon). We also find a touch of toasted wood and toasted hazelnut, especially on the finish. The tannins are melted and velvety, very soft. The finish is delicious, round and fresh, thanks to a nice acidity.
