Château Lancyre – D’ombre et de lumière 2019 – Languedoc

The nose offers notes of toasted almond, toasted and small notes of apple skin associated with small touches of citrus, juicy quince as well as fine hints of sage, discreet hints of rosemary and a subtle hint of pine sap. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, roundness, fat, suavity, a small gourmandize as well as a fine chiseled side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / pulpy green apple, sweet white grapefruit and small notes of elderflower associated with touches of pine sap candy, white flowers, exotic fruits as well as discreet hints of fresh rosemary. Good length. Presence of small toasted hints, toasted oak and toasted almonds on the finish. Sapidity (an imperceptible hint of iodine) on the finish. Good persistence.
