Château Lamothe Guignard 2022 – Sauternes, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is mineral, fresh and offers a fine concentration. There are notes of candied pear, fresh peach and small notes of small jammy yellow fruits associated with a touch of lemon in syrup as well as fine hints of verbena/white flowers and a very discreet hint of fresh saffron ( in its flowery side). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, precision, tension as well as a certain minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apple, candied pear and small notes of crunchy nectarine associated with touches of roasted pineapple, hints of crystallized mandarin as well as fine hints of vanilla, a subtle hint of saffron, lime and a very discreet hint of spices.
