Château Lamothe de Haux – Cuvée Valentine 2012 – Cadillac Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, aromatic and relatively elegant. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and discreet notes of cornflower associated with fine hints of sweet spices, sour cherry and a very discreet hint of bell pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame as well as a good and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of plum, cherry associated with a hint of toasted oak as well as a discreet note of bell pepper and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
