The nose is aromatic and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of fruit, blackcurrant buds, tobacco and spices. The palate is tight, fleshy, dense, concentrated and provides a certain tension. In the mouth it expresses notes of stewed black fruit associated with slight notes of spices, woody notes and a touch of chocolate. The tannins are numerous and quite dry. There is also a small note of pepper on the finish.
