Château Lajarre – Cuvée Eléonore 2016 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, finely powerful and offers a fine juiciness. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, redcurrant and a hint of cherry associated with fine hints of cassis and toasted hints. The palate is fruity, soft, silky, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, elegance, a nice fat / roundness as well as a fine acidity (fruit). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, redcurrant and fine hints of cassis and blackberry combined with a discreet hint of toasted oak and a discreet hint of caramelised hazelnut on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built. Nice, gourmande and suave persistence.
