The nose is fresh and offers a racy grain, a fine peppery/spicy side, accuracy as well as straightness in finesse and elegance. There are notes of luscious blackberry, dense black berries and slight hints of black pepper associated with touches of lily as well as hints of cornflower, fresh pod, gunflint and a discreet hint of sap. The palate is mineral, finely tight and offers freshness, smoothness, accuracy and concentration. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy and luscious blackberries, crunchy fresh blackcurrant and slight sap associated with touches of nutmeg as well as hints of cornflower and a subtle toasted note. The tannins are racy and precise. Tasting is done with suppleness, freshness and elegance. There is a straight side, tense, discreetly tight while remaining very fresh, delicate and silky.
