Château Lagrange 2017 – Pomerol

Château Lagrange 2017 – Pomerol

The nose is precise and offers a fine concentration as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of raspberry, blackberry and small notes of fleshy blue fruits associated with hints of spices as well as subtle hints of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, precise, dynamic, racy and offers a small straightness, suavity, a fine acide frame as well as a beautiful fine grain and slightly powdered. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly redcurrant associated with fine touches of blue fruits, violet, discreet touches of toasted, sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of pepper, fresh almond, vanilla and a very discreet hint of cardamom (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly powdered. Very fine chews on the persistence.
