Château Lagrange 2015 – Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Lagrange 2015 – Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is aromatic, a bit tight, finely gourmand and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and mocha associated with small notes of wild strawberry, wild raspberry, discreet touches of violet, Sichuan pepper, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelization and cedar wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, marked by Cabernet and offers a nice grain, a fine depthness, an acid frame, a fine freshness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, wild strawberry and juicy cassis combined with hints of toasted oak, mocha / tonka bean, caramelization as well as an imperceptible touch of violet and vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. The finish is relatively gourmande.
