The nose is fine, elegant, racy, harmonious and offers a slight richness / concentration, a nice definition as well as a nice grain. It reveals fine notes of cassis, crushed strawberry and slight notes of blackberry combined with a subtle touch of violet, graphite, tonka bean, toasted / caramelized oak as well as subtle touches of Bourbon vanilla. The mouth is fresh, beautifully built, well-balanced, harmonious and offers a very beautiful definition, a slight tension, a beautiful mineral frame, freshness, a nice grain, a nice finesse / elegance as well as a slight richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fresh / fleshy cassis and slight touches of small red berries, fresh raspberry associated with slight touches of tonka bean / cocoa as well as discreet touches of caramelized oak. Tannins are fine, elegant and very slightly firm. Beautiful persistence with slight touches of caramelization and tonka bean.
