Château Lafite Rothschild 2014 – 1er Grand Cru Classé à Pauillac

Château Lafite Rothschild 2014 – 1er Grand Cru Classé à Pauillac

The nose is fruity and elegant. It reveals notes of ripe fruit, black currant and blackberry combined with hints of flowers and slight hints of cherry, sweet spices (especially vanilla and a touch of cinnamon). The palate is fresh, precise, nicely fruity, powerful, deep, concentrated, dense and provides a certain tension. Beautiful little acidity. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and slight notes of red fruit associated with slight notes of cassis and a hint of liquorice. Tannins are fine, elegant and firm. Good length. Great aging potential.
