Château Labory 2012 – Fronsac

The nose is intense, lively and aromatic. It reveals notes of flowers (iris, blueberry), blueberry, black currant and blackberry associated with a few notes of spices (slight notes of pepper, ginger) and woody notes. The palate is elegant, fruity, fleshy, balanced, smooth and reveals a tension. A fresh frame leads the tasting. In the mouth it expresses notes of fresh red fruit (including strawberries and raspberries), blackberries and slight notes ofcassis associated to a small note of coffee and a few woody notes. Tannins are fine and supple. Good length and aromatic persistence.
