Château La Violette 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a small power, gourmandize, a fine intensity as well as delicacy. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of violet associated with small touches of violet plum, cornflower as well as hints of crushed strawberry, fine hints of caramelization and nutmeg/chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, deepness, a fine gourmandize, a finesse of the grain as well as a fine unctuosity, a beautiful delicacy and matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of small crushed black fruits as well as hints of cornflower, chocolate, caramelization and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
