The nose is aromatic, elegant and reveals a certain controlled power as well as spiciness and concentration. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, bright wild strawberry and, more slightly, zan combined with hints of lily, cuben pepper, as well as fine points of spice, concentrated berries, a subtle hint of toast, vanilla and a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness and acidity, good definition, a certain gourmandize, tension, concentration and a little airiness in its power/intensity. On the palate this wine expresses bright wild blackcurrant, full-bodied black cherry and, more lightly, full-bodied raspberry with hints of violet and bergamot, vanilla, and fine nutmeg and a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut. Harmonious.
