Château La Tribune 2018 – Pomerol

Château La Tribune 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers a fine grain, a certain power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of bright wild cassis, small red berries, small notes of small crunchy/fresh blue fruits associated with small touches of lily, iris as well as fine hints of blackberry, liquorice stick, a discreet hint of tobacco, pepper and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, fullness, a small fat, a fresh frame and energy/dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/ripe cassis, blackberry, small notes of liquorice stick, coffee and a very discreet hint of chocolate. Good length and persistence. A very discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence.
