On the nose, fruity with freshness, a certain power and a fine depth. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, fresh/dense small cassis and hints of purple plum combined with touches of grey pepper, violet, strawberry and fine hints of fresh tobacco and discreet wafts of saffron. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a little creaminess, a nice definition, gourmandize, a slightly airy character, bitter but well balanced, and a good tannic structure. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis and hints of juicy/fresh raspberry combined with touches of creamy plum as well as hints of graphite, camphor, cocoa, fine cardamom, subtle hints of black tea and vanilla. Good length. The tannins are precise and finely firm.
