Château La Tour de Ségur 2018 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is flowery, aromatic and offers intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry and flowers (violet, lilac, a hint of iris) associated with fine touches of crunchy strawberry as well as fine hints of liquorice and discreet hints of toasted/dark chocolate. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, precision, tension, gourmandize, fullness, suavity as well as a mineral/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, acidulous /juicy blackberry and small notes of flowers associated with fine touches of juicy/acidulous small berries as well as hints of liquorice, sugared mild tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine, straight, precise and slightly squarred.
