Château La Tour Blanche 2017 – Sauternes Cru Classé

The nose is fresh, elegant, precise and offers richness as well as freshness. It reveals notes of candied kumquat and ripe citrus associated with fine notes of yellow fruits (Mirabelle…), candied fruits as well as fine hints of roasted pineapple and spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition/finesse, fat, a small unctuosity, a beautiful freshness, a good volume, fat as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied pear and more slightly kumquat, crushed Mirabelle associated with hints of candied pineapple, a fine touch of biscuit, spices as well as a hint of vanilla and fresh flowers. Good length and good persistence.
