Château La Thil 2021 – Pessac-Léognan

Château La Thil 2021 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, fine power and a nice finesse of grain. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, crushed red currant and, more slightly, fleshy/juicy strawberry, combined with fine graphite and discreet pepper. The palate is fruity, nicely acidic and reveals precision, delicacy, purity, a little airiness in the balance and purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy redcurrant, tart raspberry and more slightly juicy/acidic cherry combined with hints of tart blackcurrant as well as fine graphite, a discreet hint of saltiness, toast and chocolate. Good length. The tannins are mellow. Salinity and a subtle chewiness on the finish/persistence.
