The nose is finely tight and offers gourmandize, a small concentration as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of wild plum, cassis, small notes of griotte associated with small touches of crushed redcurrant, small blue fruits, sage as well as hints of local grove, olive and discreet hints of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a mineral frame, a good definition as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, pulpy plum, small notes of liquorice associated with touches of crushed cherry, crushed strawberry as well as hints of black olive, tobacco, Badiane, sage as well as subtle hint of saffron, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of aromatic herbs. Tannins are well-built. There are fine hints of chocolate/coffee in the finish/persistence. There are fine hints of dark chocolate, caramelization and black olive in the persistence. Good persistence.
