The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful racy grain, controlled power and subtlety. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very fine touches of cocoa, cardamom, violet as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, precision, a fin/racy grain as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with very fine hints of cassis as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, cardamom, a subtle hint of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Tannins are fine and elegant. A very discreet hint of dry almond on the persistence.
