Château La Rose Perrière 2019 – Lussac-Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity and offers a small power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with fine touches of violet, crushed blueberry as well as a hint of nutmeg, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition as well as a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, sapidity and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy redcurrant, blackberry, small notes of cassis associated with touches of raspberry as well as hints of lily/iris, a racy minerality as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and chocolate. Good length.
