Château La Ribaud 2022 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose offers precision and a tangy side of red fruits. It expresses notes of red cherry, red currant, strawberry and more lightly – blueberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by notes of cut mint, blackcurrant leaf, licorice and cornflower. We also find a very discreet toasted note in the background. On the palate, the wine is juicy, airy and fluid. It expresses notes of ripe red cherry, crunchy strawberry, fresh raspberry, a hint of blueberry, blackcurrant, fresh mint and rosemary sprig. The tannins are firm, grippy but well constructed. The finish is persistent, with notes of tangy black fruits, with a slight bitterness and crunchy acidity. A precise and chiselled wine.
