The nose is peppery and offers power and a small concentration. It reveals notes of ripe boysen berry, ripe wild blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, cuben pepper as well as a hint of small acidulous blue berries, liquorice and fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, suavity as well as a good definition, a fine power, a fine suavity and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild cassis, juicy Boysen berry, small notes of juicy strawberry associated with touches of small acidulous red berries, violet, lily as well as fine hints of liquorice, dark chocolate/mocha and caramelization. Tannins are dry.
