Château La Renaissance – Romana 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers intensity, a racy power, a good purity and a good definition. It reveals notes of cassis, blueberry, small notes of wild blackberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, griotte, dry plum as well as black pepper, touches of cloves and spices. The palate is fruity, delicate, gourmand, well-built and offers purity of the fruit, finesse as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, juicy/ripe wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of small wild/juicy blue berries as well as fine hints of nutmeg, violet, cardamom. Tannins are precise and fine. Good length.
